Hello Temple, TX!

Medical school has brought me to the small town of Temple, TX. I don't know that I would necessarily chose to live here, but it will do...as soon as class starts next week I won't have time to do anything but study anyway. I'm just about settled into my new apartment, I've been being crafty the past couple of days.

I decided to create this blog to try to document my journey through medical school, since journaling has failed me in the past, I thought I'd give this a shot. And this way I'll be able to share it with my family and friends.

Orientation starts this Monday and class begins next Monday. My head is full of emotions, the most prominent being excitement. I've been waiting for this day for the past four years. Although I feel as though I have a thought of what medical school will bring, I'm sure it will prove me wrong shortly. At the end of four years, I'll love what I'm doing with my life and it will definitely be worth it. Bring it on and pass me the scalpel. Medical school here I come.
