Day 3 is complete and medical school orientation is just about over. This week has been fun, well listening to orientation information isn't that fun, but the starting of medical school and meet new people has been awesome! We've been flooded with information and free food, and today we even got a few basic lectures. The past two nights, myself and some of my new friends went to Obrian's pub in downtown Temple which is one of the only bar/pub type places here. The place reminds me of the pub out of Scrubs.It has been awesome getting to know everyone and I'm sure we will have many more outings there. I have a strong feeling that we will be getting very close, very soon. I've even already gotten challenged to a dance battle...I don't think they realize what they're in for. lol Also, after many technical difficulties and my total lack of computer skills, I finally got my awesome new tablet laptop all set up and ready to go!
I'm not sure the whole 'you're actually in medical school' thing has sunk in yet. However, the more we talk about the importance of what we are doing and how fast everything in the next four years will fly at us, I'm getting really pumped about it all. I can't believe its actually here!!
